The BEST darn Meatoaf on the Eastern Boarder

"I Thought This was the BEST DARN MEATLoaf I have ever tasted and I would never ever eat my moms meatloaf and I love this Meatloaf. If You don't like it the first time adjust the amounts on the ingredients and make it again. I thought it was so RUDD of the person that left the comment about No Way No Good, I was always taught that if you didn't have nothing nice to say, Say nothing at all. Obviously she cooked it wrong and just didn't work with it add or delete as much of some ingredient, but this is GREAT MEATLOAF. LEARN to cook Don't leave Mean Comments. @@@@@@@"

Ingredients

Are you making this? 
2 tablespoons Mustard
2 pound lean ground beef
A-1 steak sauce
2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dry bread crumbs or oatmeal
2 large Eggs
3/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 small Onion; minced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 cup Ketchup
1 cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce

Original recipe makes 6

Preparation

SAUCE:

Mix 1 cup ketchup with 1/2 cup brown sugar and about the last 20 minutes of baking time put this sauce on top of the meatloaf. These are additional amounts of both Ingredients for the sauce.

Instructions:

Mix all meatloaf ingredients together. Blend well. Pat meatloaf into a 9" loaf pan or make into small individual loaves for single use later. Spread remaining sauce mixture over top of meatloaf. Bake in 400 degree oven for one hour.

Our daughter will only eat Moms Best Meat Loaf. And most the time I just put stuff in and do not measure but she told me I had to measure the stuff out so that she could have the recipe when she left home and got married. So here it is and I hope that you and your family enjoy it as much as we do. We serve it with baked potatoes and corn.

What is the suggested amount of A1 I should add?

Loved it! Did cut back a little on the sugar and added Worchester sauce but it was a fantastic base!

I cut the sugar in half and reduced the milk. It came out well.

Very good!! Don't overdo the brown sugar.. Unless of course you want to!

My husband LOVED this meatloaf and it was the best one I've found for the beloved leftover meatloaf sandwich!

I didn't add the A-1 and replaced it with 3/4 can of tomato soup and added less ketchup. I added the rest of the soup and brown sugar together to put on top of meatloaf for baking. I also used two cups of cooked rice and sausage. This is a very good meal excited for leftovers not mushy at all

Too mushy, too sweet, did not come out in loaf form even when using a loaf pan. Also drippings poured out of loaf pan all over oven. I'll stick to the recipe on the back of McCormick's packet!!

I love the recipe, very easy to follow, unfortunately this was the very first time I've made meatloaf, so it came out pretty mushy. It tasted great though.
