A chocolatey, chewy no-bake oatmeal cookie. One of my childhood favorites!
Blend the sugar, salt, cocoa, milk and butter in a saucepan and bring to a slow rolling boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, nuts and oatmeal. Drop by teaspoonful on wax paper and allow to set. Store in a covered tin away from heat.
Makes 4 dozen.
