I got this recipe from a friend of mine that saw something similar on TV. Gooey, bitter, salty and sweet.
1. Slice the hot dogs lengthwise, leaving it attached on one side. Cook on medium-high heat in a skillet with the butter until browned.
2. Set them aside in a hot shallow bath of chicken broth to stay warm.
3. Mix the eggs and a splash of milk in a bowl. Dip the bread in the egg mixture and fry it on a griddle or skillet.
4. Lay a slice of swiss cheese on the fried bread and smear a light coat of jam on it. Place a hot dog on it and enjoy.
