Cubed pork in a caraway seed, dill, sour cream sauce
Brown meat in hot oil. Add onion and cook until onion is wilted. Add all ingredients except the sour cream. Simmer gently in a tightly covered frying pan for 1 hour. You'll need to keep an eye on it. If simmered too high the broth will evaporate. If the broth looks too thin after the hour you can add a little flour to thicken it up or add more broth if too much has boiled off. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream. It can be served over rice or noodles.
The amount of broth, flour, and sour cream can be adjusted to your taste and how much liquid you want for the rice or noodles. This recipe has been in my family ever since I can remember and mom used regular sour cream but I have always used low fat and have found that it works great.
