Taco chip casserole
Preheat oven to 375
PREPARE MEAT MIXTURE: In large skillet, heat oil over med high. Add onion and garlic. Saute 3 minutes. Add ground beef; cool until brown. Drain fat. Stir in seasoning, then remove from stove.
Rinse, drain kidney beans. Toss with 1 cup of cheese.
Grease 2 quart casserole.
Line bottom with 1/3 of chips
Layer cheese and bean mixture, spread evenly over 1/3 more chips, spoon meat mixture over this layer.
Layers should be: chips, meat, chips, meat, chips.
Top with rest of chips and arrange neatly.
Drizzle taco sauce over chips, and sprinkle with rest of cheese.
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
