Simple Chicken Pot Pie recipe
1. Boil chicken breasts for 15 minutes
2. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces or smaller
3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
4. Place 1 pie shell in bottom of 9" round pie dish
5. In a large bowl, mix the cubed chicken breast, cream of chicken soup, 1/3 of a soup can of the water that the chicken was boiled in, and salt and pepper to taste.
6. Place chicken mixture into pie shell.
7. Place additional pie shell on top and crimp edges. Spread melted butter on edge of crust and on top to prevent crust from burning.
8. Cut several slits into top pie shell to vent.
9. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
