Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350. Slice onions and place on bottom of roasting pan. Season both sides of chicken with seasonings. Place on top of onions. Place garlic cloves - some peeled and some with peel on - on top of chicken. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Garlic cloves that are in peels can be squeezed onto challah and spread like butter for the garlic lovers. You can also quarter red potatoes and put them in plastic bag with the above mentioned seasonings, shake and put on top of chicken and bake together. They brown beautifully and are very tasty.
