Ready in 45 minutes
This is not only a creamy dessert, but also easy, quick and delicious.
In a heavy saucepan, melt vanilla or white chips over med.-low heat; stir until smooth. Remove from the heat; stir in cream cheese until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into the crust.
Cover and refrigerate overnight or until set. Just before serving, sprinkle with toffee bits.
hollybierbower 1y agoThe family absolutely loves this! Been making this for the last couple years now. Going to make it again tonight with a homemade graham cracker crust :-)
WheelyMum 2y agoI made this tonight and I used white chocolate and Ginger biscuits for the base and sprinkled small pieces of the biscuits on the top with some pieces of stem ginger in syrup too. As I am in England we don't have cool whip so I used double cream and it worked great and everyone seemed to like it and some said they loved it. I think I might put some citrus fruits or some sharp berries with it next time to cut through the creaminess. Definitely worth a shot at making, thanks for the recipe.
Joelle909 2y agoI haven't made it and I won't be. I know it's very tasty because I made something similar to it. I'm not going to make anything out of cool whip because it consists mainly of processed vegetable oils and high fructose corn syrup. They're bad for u!!
hollybierbower 2y agoEveryone loved it! Making again tonight

LD10374 3y agoThis was a little more work than I envisioned, but it came out great. The only suggestionI have is to make sure to use a really good melting chip. Oherwise it is too hard to melt the chips.
