Ready in 45 minutes
An easy chocolate cheesecake, made with melted chocolate chips, sugar, cream cheese and butter, mixed with whipped topping and chilled in a graham cracker crust.
Melt chocolate chips over low heat in saucepan or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth and melted. Set aside to cool.
In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese, sugar and butter until smooth.
On low speed blend in the meled chocolate. Fold in whipped topping until blended.
Spoon the cheese chocolate filling mixture into the prepared graham cracker crust. Cover and chill until firm.
Garnish with whipped topping and shaved chocolate, if desired.
To lower calories I used Neufchatel Cream Cheese in place of Original.

kdssr101 3y agoI have a question. I want to make a double layer chocolate cake for my mothers birthday but I want to put a layer of cheesecake inbetween. I don't want the crust so can I make this mixture and set it in the dish without the crust?? Will the cheesecake collapse between the layers of cake?? Or do you maybe have a chocolate cake with a layer of cheesecake recipe???

wilderhares 5y agomy husband has been asking for chocolate cheesecake since I don't know when. I made this for Christmas Day and it was absolutely wonderful. So easy to make and a very very very good cheesecake.
