Suggest a better descriptionCream together Sugars and shortening with mixer. Add the eggs, Sift together flour, salt and soda and add to creamed mixture by hand. Stir in Oats, nuts and vanilla. Place 2 inch balls of dough on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
