For a deliciously crisp crust use Panko bread crumbs.

Delicious comfort food.

I haven't cooked it, but I can tell that this recipe needs revision. The ingredients for the cheese sauce are mixed in with the ingredients for the bread crumb topping. The amount of butter which should be used in each part should also be clarified. This website kinda sucks. Submitted this review without rating the recipe. Got sent to an error page that didn't give me the option to correct that. When I went back to the recipe page, the "Add my Review" button was disabled.

Very good, but did not follow the exact quantities, too much milk or cheese

Not very good. Really runny and the bread crumb topping was flavorless and was not a good addition. My kids live for Mac an cheese and they didn't even like it.

It was a greasy mess. The directions at the end seemed to be written by a child.

This is so good. I like to add a little sour cream and a mix blend of cheeses for extra creaminess. Definitely top with panko bread crumbs for a nice crunch! Kids love it!

This was a great recipe. Really rich, creamy and tasty. In addition to the recommended topping I also tossed bacon bits over it (not simulated) it made it extra special. I think the serving size is actually more for 6-8 people. I will definitely make this again.
