Suggest a better description~---------------------------SAMP------------------------------------------- : Vegetable oil or shortening : -for deep frying 1 c Martha White Self-Rising : -Flour 2/3 c Martha White Self-Rising : -Corn Meal Mix 3/4 c Milk 1 Egg, lightly beaten 2 tb Vegetable oil : Wooden skewers (optional) 1 lb Weiners, at room temp. : Mustard and ketchup (opt.) In large saucepan or electric fryer, heat 2 to 3 inches of oil over medium-high heat to 375. Stir together flour and corn meal in mixing bowl. Add milk, egg, and 2 tablespoons oil; stir until smooth. set batter aside for 10 minutes. Insert skewers into weiners. Dip weiners into batter. Carefully drop corn dogs into hot oil.
