1/2 lb sharp cheddar; grated
1 cups Flour
1 stick margarine or butter; (softened)
1 tsp cayenne
1 jar green olives

Original recipe makes 25



Mix first four ingredients with hands. Drain olives well. Wrap 1 tsp dough around each olive. Freeze and store in plastic bag. Bake frozen balls in 400ยบ oven for 10-15 minutes.

These are horrible they taste like flour!

These are ok. I added only 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of paprika. Rolling the dough around the olives was very challenging at first, but I got the hang of it after the first several. I baked them for 15 mins and served them warm. I mostly tasted flour when eating them.

Substituted smoked paprika in place of the cayenne pepper. Turned out great!!

cayenne called for made first batch too spicy to eat. made 2nd batch with paprika and took to party. The plate only had 3 left after party. Good sign but on the fence because of cayenne called for ruined first batch
