This is my simple version of a ham and cheese omelet in my GT Xpress 100
very simple and fast and delish!
Turn on your gt xpress and let it heat up. When it is hot and the light clicks on, spray with pam spray, lay on one piece of ham one way then lay another down the other way like a plus sign so its covering the bottom of the appliance. Beat your 1 whole egg and 2 whites together and salt and pepper to your liking, and pour it over your ham, cook for about 2-3 min with the top closed, make sure your ham isn't hanging over the sides, or heat will escape, after about 3 min and egg looks done sprinkle with cheese turn off machine and get your plate ready, remove the omelet or as I call it Hamlet, fold it in half on plate and dig in! enjoy.
this can be adapted to what ever kind of ham or turkey (thin sliced that you have)
or you can use a tortilla corn or flour to lay down in place of the ham, it just might take longer to cook, and you can just break an egg or two over this instead of whipping it up!
