"Nothing beats the original Toll House Chocolate Chip cookie -- the recipe has stood the test of time and is an all time family favorite. When I have them, I like to include black walnuts in the mix, the flavor combination is exceptionaly good!"

Best ever choc. chip cookie recipe! We substitute nuts for oats and use one stick of butter and one margerine. My grandmother and mom use this recipe and now I do too! Delicious!

Been making these since my kids were little and now my daughter makes them herself. Between my husband and my kids they never last long in our house! We do leave out the nuts, though.
