This steak seasoning recipe is easy and makes a delicious complement to your grilled or broiled steak. The seasoning is very tasty!
"It's been a while since I''ve had a steak at an Outback so I can''t comment on how close the spice is to theirs but it sure added some good flavour to the steak I had tonight. Half the recipe is enough for two reaonable sized steaks. The company I have been buying my steak seasoning from just lost my business."
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. This recipe yields about 8 teaspoons of seasoning.
I recommend making, serving, and trying it out. If you like it, make a large batch and keep it in an airtight container.
I updated this recipe to half the salt from 1 teaspoon to a 1/2 teaspoon as noted in some of the comments and added Ground Cumin to even out the flavor blend.
Yoobie 1y agoI've seen this same recipe on several websites and I wonder if anyone posting it ever tried it. I followed it to the letter on both ribeyes and filets (trying to get close to the 'Victoria's Filet' at Outback. It tasted nothing like it. We eat there often and my poor wife wasted half of her filet because she hated the spices. It tasted too much like Indian seasoning or something, but whatever it was it was not even close to Outback seasoned steaks. I absolutely would not recommend this recipe to anyone looking for the Outback flavor. It's far from it.

Jillybeanz0278 3y agoMade this for my husband, mom and three steak loving kids. What a hit. I added a teaspoon of coriander and a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. Very very delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we made a huge batch and canned it for future us
