Oyster Beef with Broccoli

Quick Chinese-inspired dish with oyster sauce.


1 lb boneless beef
2 green onions
2 tbsp Soy sauce
2 tbsp Water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp white wine
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp Sugar
1 head broccoli; blanched

Original recipe makes 4



Combine soy sauce, water, cornstarch, white wine, salt, onions and beef and let stand for 15 minutes.

In high heated wok, add 1 tbsp oil. Cook broccoli for 1 minute and set aside. Add the meat mixture and stir-fry until brown. Add oyster sauce, sugar and broccoli and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
