Suggest a better descriptionSlowly heat milk in soup kettle.
Saute all vegetables and spices in skillet with butter and bacon drippings.
Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well.
Slowly stir in the clam juice and champagne; simmer 20 minutes.
Add brie cheese and stir until melted.
Add skillet mixture to heated milk. Stir and simmer 10 minutes.
Add drained oysters, cover and turn off heat. Let sit 5 minutes.
Garnish with bacon bits and parsley; tabasco for guests who like to kick it up a bit.
