1) Boil Pasta
2) microwave butter, flour for 2 min, stopping half way to whisk. Whisk again when the roux is done
3) mix 1c milk & 1 c cream together. Heat 1 minute at a time, stirring between until sauce becomes thick and creamy. About 4-6 min
4)While sauce is hot, add grated cheddar and american in small handfuls stirring to melt. Season with salt and pepper.
5) mix sauce and pasta together
