Delicious Old World style salad.
Preheat oven to 450*F. Spray baking sheet with Olive oil. Place bread cubes on baking sheet loosely. Spray with olive oil spray and season with garlic powder,sea salt and pepper to taste Bake 5-10 minutes in hot oven until toasted. Then cool.
Meanwhile place tomatoes,onion and chopped basil in large bowl. Add bread cubes and toss.
Stir oil,vinegar,pesto and salt and pepper together in small measuring pitcher and drizzle over salad, tossing well to evenly distribute dressing.
Use high quality olive oil and flavorful bread for this scrumptious salad!
