While straining pasta add cream to Pan (large enough to accommodate pasta), on low heat add Parmesan cheese salt pepper and garlic powder return pasta to pan.
Some Parmesan cheese will require more cream than others... just add creame until you reach the desired consistency. If you think the sauce is too thin just cook longer till thickened.
