Ready in 1 hour 15 minutes
This is my Grandma's recipe for some very yummy mashed potatoes. This has been in my family for quite some time and I love making it for friends and family. Make this recipe for a holiday meal and it will be an instant hit!
In large mixer bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, butter and seasonings. Slowly add mashed potatoes, beating as added. May need some milk to make right consistency. Taste for seasoning. Pour into a greased baking dish. Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour over top. Bake in uncovered dish at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

bbeck40 5y agoGreat recipe! My family has made something very similar to this but we had chopped chives in ours. And yes it is a hit with everyone that has tried it @our house!
yodersa 6y agoThe melted butter over top causes there to be a sort of crispy, crusty edge to the potatoes. It's always my family's favorite part. [I posted this recipe.]
