SS216 Delicious sweet rich dessert
Cream together butter and sugar. Add flour and vanilla; beat until combined. Stir in nuts and press into 8x8 inche baking pan. Bake in preheated oven 350 until lightly browned, 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla. Pour over crust. Arrange pears over filling. Sprinkle with 1 tsp cinnamon sugar. Bake 350 for 25-30 mins. Cool 45 mins. Cover and refrigerate at least 45 mins. before cutting. Store in refrigerator.
Very popular at choir retreat--sweet and rich, small portions sufficient.
