Pecan Tarts

mini pecan "pies"

Ingredients

CRUST:
1 cup butter; melted (2 sticks)
8 oz cream cheese; softened
2 cups all purpose flour
FILLING:
1/4 cup butter; melted (1/2 stick)
1 lb light brown sugar; (2 1/2 c packed)
3 Eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans; chopped

Original recipe makes 24

Preparation

CRUST:

Mix all together. Roll small ball in hand. Put in tins and mold around the tin.

FILLING:

Mix all together. Fill each tart crust 3/4 full. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-25 min. or until light brown.
