Ready in 5 minutes

This is an easy way to cook both the eggs and toast on our alcohol fueled stove aboard our sailboat.

2 tablespoons Butter
2 Eggs
1 Salt
1 Pepper

Original recipe makes 1

Butter the bread on one side. Cut a hole in the bread big enough to contain the egg. Melt butter in your non-stick skillet and place the bread with the unbuttered side down. Break an egg into each piece of bread, salt and pepper to taste. Be sure to cook the cutouts! Turn the egg/bread and cook to desired firmness.

This is a basic breakfast I prepare on the boat. I usually make brown and serve sausage links first and then the eggs. It is quick and an efficient use of the fuel in the stove. [I posted this recipe.]
