1. Cook penne in boiling water in a large saucepan following packet directions. Drain, set aside and keep warm. 2. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Cook garlic over a medium heat for 1 minute. Add bacon and cook for 2 to 3 minutes longer or until bacon is crispy. Add basil, walnuts and penne to pan, season to taste with black pepper and toss to combine.
