Pretty, peppermnt angel food cake. Quick and simple way to dress up an angel food cake mix.
1. Preheat oven to 375-degrees.
2. For cake, prepare batter following package directions. Stir in peppermint extract. Divide and tint half of batter with red food coloring. Spoon batter into ungreased 10-inch tube pan alternating colors to marble. Bake and cool cake following package directions. Brush loose crust from cake with paper towel.
3. For glaze, combine sugar, milk, peppermint extract and red food coloring in small bowl. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over cake. Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy, if desired.
