Ready in 30 minutes
Picadillo is a ground beef dish that is served with rice and beans in most Latin households. It can also be used as a ground beef filling for other dishes.
Place ground beef in a large pan and begin to break down and brown/ Add bacon and and remainder of ingredients.
Cook on Medium heat for approx. 20 Minutes.
You can substitute the ground beef for ground Pork or Turkey if you like. You can also add diced potatoes or go Cuban style and add hard boiled egg whites.
Sazon (1 1/4 tsp equals one packet of Sazon in recipe.)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Coriander
1 tsp Annatto

Reteeks 5y agoSuper easy and delicious! It was perfect over rice and inside a whole wheat tortilla. Only change I made was I left out the capers for my toddler, and added 1/2 tsp of chilling powder for myself.
