Mix flour & salt – cut in lard – sprinkle with water 1T at a time until dough comes together – chill before rolling for a more flaky crust – roll out on a flour covered surface
Sprinkle crust scraps with cinnamon & sugar bake for a snack.
Makes one 8 - 9 inch pie shell.
And if you’re in a hurry or feeling lazy, Pillsbury ready-made is a good substitute – just let it warm up before trying to unroll the dough – then I roll it out a little bit bigger.
