Suggest a better descriptionPrick bottom and sides of pastry with fork. Bake at 400 degrees for 3 minutes; remove from oven and gently prick with a fork. Bake additional 5 minutes, Set aside. Drain spinach, pressing between layer of paper towels, set aside. Cook bacon in microwave until crisp. Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. Cook onions in bacon drippings until tender, stir in spinach and remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese and next five ingredients in large bowl, stir in spinach mixture and bacon. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Let pie stand 5 minutes. Garnish, if desired. Recipe No.: 52
