Suggest a better descriptionTear 1 Angle Food Cake into small pieces.
Electric mixer: beat 7 egg yolks, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 lemon grated rind and juice together. Cook stirring over steam.
Beat: 7 eggs whites, add 3/4 cup sugar slowly during second half of beating.
Pour: 2 packets of gelatin (Knox) into 1 cup of cold water.
Drain: 1 can of crushed pineapple over a sieve.
Remove pot from steam.
Add & fold in: gelatin, crushed pineapple, beaten egg whites either in bowl or mold. Spoon mixture in bottom of bowl.
Add a layer of angel food bits alternate. Finishing top with pineapple cream. Serve with whipping cream. Prepare the night before.
