cindyvormittagd1t7o4I have this baking in the oven right now. It smells divine! I used white cake mix instead of yellow, and added 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger. I use extra vigil coconut oil, and used vanilla Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I'm debating on the whipped cream topping w/pudding, or just adding bourbonized vanilla bean powder to my whipped cream to cut sweetness. I added some shredded coconut to batter, too, as we are count junkies in my house. The cake batter tasted yummy!1y ago
LarisaSMy family thought it was too sweet so will try pudding free topping next time. Overall good2y ago
jump7runThis recipe sounds really good but, it is confusing because it is not clear what size can of pineapple goes in the cake and what goes in the frosting. Neither does it tell you what goes in the frosting. Other than that, I would love to try it when I know for sure what to do. :) Thank you, jump7run3y ago
NadineGMy husband ate two pieces at one sitting, it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely make again.3y ago
texaspaintponyOh my goodness, super YUMMY! The topping reminds me of getting pineapple sundaes at DQ as a kid. Very easy to make, excellent instructions. By the time it was ready to try, my kids were sleeping. I know they will love it. TY for sharing this receipe!3y ago
