Cake:
1. Beat shortening, margarine, vanilla, and pineapple extract, and sugar in mixer until fluffy.
2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
3. Sift together flour and baking powder.
4. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Beginning and ending with flour.
5. Stir in pineapple.
6. Pour into greased and floured tubed pan. Place pan in a cold oven. Set oven to 275 convection 325 regular oven and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake is done.
7. While cake is baking prepare Pineapple Glaze.
8. To prepare glaze mix ingredients together until smooth.
9. Cool cake in pan 15 minutes. Turn out and glaze immediately.
