In a mixing bowl, make cake batter according to the directions on back of box. In a greased 3 1/2 to 5 quart slow cooker, layer melted butter, brown sugar, pineapple with juice, and cherries. Pour cake batter over the top. Covre and cook on low heat 4 to 5 hours, or until cake is firm in the center. Makes 8-10 servings
tstrmlvr 8m agoLoved how easy this was to make. The cake was moist and just the right consistency. One challenge is getting it out of the crockpot. Mine is heavy and make it hard to flip over. I cooked on low 3.5 hours and it was spongy in the middle, turned off but left it in to cool.
