Mom's Recipe
Mix cake batter according to instructions.
In skillet, melt butter and brown sugar over low heat until dissolved.
Take off heat.
Arrange pineapple slices and cherry halves around skillet.
Sprinkle nuts over pineapples and cherries.
Pour cake batter over all and bake according to instructions on box.
Remove from oven when done. (Toothpick test.)
