Suggest a better descriptionDissolve sugar in lukewarm water.
Sprinkle yeast on top and let stand in warm place until foamy, about 10 minutes.
Stir in egg.
Combine 3 cups of flour and salt in a large bowl.
Stirs in yeast mixture.
Add enough of the remaining 1/2 cup flour to make a soft dough.
Turn out on a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.
Place dough in bowl and brush lightly with oil.
Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size, about 1 hour.
Punch dough down and divide into 2 pieces.
On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a 12 inch circle and place on ungreased pizza stone.
Add sauce and toppings.
Bake at 450 deg for 10 - 15 minutes until crust is browned.
