This is a crock pot dish, super delicious and a must try for any sausage/kielbasa fan. A new twist on a classic hunter's stew recipe.
The amounts are guidelines. Slice and chop the vegetables (except the onions) and meat, add them to the crock pot with 1/2 cup of water. Set crock pot on high. Combine the spices and the soup, the bullion cube, remaining half cup of water, onions, and add after 2 hours. If your crock pot/slow cooker is too small for the cabbage (which is optional) add it as you can and it will cook down. Cook Covered from start to finish.
Serve with bread
Garnish with a cucumber straws or kale leaf.
Don't stop cooking until the sausage has a dry appearance and the potatoes are soft! Also, if you like this, check out some recipes for a polish dish called Bigos.
