The main ingredient is pork loin chops
1. Trim excess fat from pork chops. sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a 12-inch nonstick skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork chops. Cook for 8to 12 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer registers 145 degrees F, turning once halfway through cooking. Remove from skillet. Cover with foil.Let stand 3 minutes.
2. Add apples. onion, and garlic to skillet. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add apple juice. Cook about 4 minutes more or until most liquid has evaporated and apples are crisp- tender.
3. Meanwhile, stir together whipping cream, maple syrup, and thyme. Pour over apples in skillet. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through and sauce starts to thicken.
4. Serve apple mixture over pork chops. Sprinkle with additional fresh thyme, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
