Firstly gently brown the sausages all over. Then using a draining spoon transfer them to a plate and keep them on one side.
Now add the onion and the bacon to the fat remaining in the pan and cook these for about 10 minutes, or until,onion is soft.
Then sprinkler in the flour and stir it round to soak up the juices. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 more minutes before stirring in cider and stock. Next add the purée, herbs and jelly, bring to simmering point, taste and season.
Return sausages to pan and cook gently without a cover for about 15 minutes.
Serve with mash potatoes.
