Port Mushroom Sauce For Steak

Great topping for filets or other steaks.


olive oil
1 1/2 cups Mushroom
2 ounces Port wine
1 ounce Beef stock
1 tablespoon Butter
pinch Basil

Original recipe makes 4



Cover bottom of pan with olive oil and saute untl mushrooms ar lightly brown. Deglaze pan with port wine. Add beef stock and butter; let simmer. Add basil. Pour over prepared filet.
