Tender beef like it cooked all day in a crock pot with the speed of a pressure cooker..using a cheaper cut of meat. Rich and delicious
1. Cut roast into 2-3" size pieces, season with garlic, salt and pepper.
2. Brown meat in cooker with oil
2. Add onion, water, bay leaf, Worcestershire and gravy mix.
3. Close cooker with regulator in place, bring.pressure up to gentle rocking and then lower down to medium low heat and a slow rock. Depends on cooking surface - I have a glass top stove so it is hard to find that sweet spot sometimes to give you an exact temperature.
5. Cook 30 mins with regulator rocking slowly, take off heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Then run under cool water to let off remaining pressure.
6. Serve over cooked egg noodles or stir in
Can add a cup of tempered sour cream to make stroganoff.
