This recipe makes 3 large loaves. Freezes well.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, pumpkin, vanilla and water. In a separate bowl, combine flour, soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves. Slowly add the dry mixture to the pumpkin mixture and stir until blended. Pour into greased loaf pans. Bake for 70 minutes (60 minutes for small loaf pans, 45 minutes for muffins).
