Pumpkin Dump Cake

Ingredients

1 29-oz can pure pumpkin
1 12-oz can evaporated milk
3 Eggs
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 T pumpkin pie spice mix
1/2 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup Pecans; chopped
1/2 cup margarine; melted

Original recipe makes 12 Servings

 

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first six ingredients until well blended, and pour batter into a 9-by-13-inch greased pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top, and then cover with pecans. Pour melted margarine over top. Bake 50 minutes.

Notes

Top with whipped cream.

I am dieting and trying not to have tempting foods around. I made this for my family because I thought it wouldn't be to hard to resist. I was wrong!!! The kids, hubby and myself loved it. Like the texture, like the richness and liked the pumpkin ! Good choice!!!
