My kids have never liked chili till now!
Cook chopped onions in 2 tbsp olive oil on med high till they lightly brown. Turn to low and Add all other ingredients in order as listed in ingredients. Raise heat to med-high till you get a light boil. Then bring down to a simmer and cook for 15-20 mins. If it gets to thick add a little more milk 1/4c at a time. You can then serve when you are ready to eat. We like to add mozzarella cheese to the top after serving and have Cornbread with it. Yummy! Enjoy!
This feeds my family of 6 ( four kids and two adults) and is very easy to double for more people or for freezing for later.
