Doce tradicional da ceia de Natal.
Preparar o leite com as raspas de limão e os paus de canela. Se quiser pode acrescentar uma colher de sopa de açucar. O pão tem que ser do dia anterior (dormido). Cortam-se as fatias com a espessura de um dedo e meio. Passar as fatias de pão pelo leite e deixar escorrer. Passar pelos ovos batidos e fritar no óleo quente.Virar as fatias para ficarem bem douradas de ambos os lados. Depois de fritas e escorridas, polvilham-se bem com a mistura de açucar e canela.
