"I've made this several times just as the recipie says (although it always takes more like 50 min to cook all the way through) ... Tonight I was in a rush, so here's a Quick Tip: microwave the potatoes, oil and seasoning for 12 min or until potatoes are cooked just through. Then broil in oven, watching closely and turning every 3 min till golden on most sides. Took a fraction of time and still yummy!

2 pound New red potatoes; cubed
1 package Hidden Valley Original Ranch Mix
1/4 cup Vegetable oil

Original recipe makes 4 Servings



Oven Temp: 350F / 180C / Gas Mark 4

In a sealable plastic bag shake potato chunks, dressing package and oil; coating potates well.

Bake at for 35 minutes in ungreased baking pan until crispy brown.

I made this last night and it came out pretty good, i made a single serving and being the ranch lover I am I added the whole packet to 3 potatoes and it was amazing LOL. will be a deff go to for potatoes from now on!

I sprinkled canned parmesan cheese over these before baking for added flavor and they were a big hit. They're already on the menu for next week!

Grea. Great recipe! I used new red potatoes cut in half, but for some reason they didn't bake tender. I even roasted them 45 rather than the indicated 35 mins. Took Picky Wife's and World's Greatest Mother-in-law's and zapped them for a minute, but they were still tough and crunchy. I'll try this recipe again, because I still haven't mastered roasting potatoes. I'll try large red potatoes next, then perhaps russets.

Very salty. I would use less ranch mix or add milk to mix. But the recipe as is was too salty for me
