Combining fresh raspberries with gelatin, whipping cream makes for a simple easy dessert.
Combine sugar and crushed berries letting stand for 30 minutes. Soak the gelatin in the water to soften, then dissove in the boiling water. Stir the gelatin mix and the lemon juice into the berries. When iberries are about to set, whip the cream and fold into the berries. Pour mixture into crust and refrigerate for 12 hours.
This makes a lot of bavarian cream, so I sometimes use 2 smaller graham crusts, then I have 2 pies! I use the plastic cover that comes with the pieshell to cover the pie by turning the cover upside down and putting over the pie. It protects the pie(s) and makes it easier to stack..
