Suggest a better descriptionMix all dry seasonings together ---> Makes Sierra Grande seasoning (see Dave to make).
Soak beans 3-4 hours. Rinse and put into stock pot with chicken broth.
Simmer for 2 hours.
Add rice 40 minutes before serve time.
Make sure there looks like twice the liquid quantity left as compared to the amount of rice going in.
Add more liquid as needed.
Cook bacon till crispy and sauté onions. Add to beans & rice near finish.
