Suggest a better descriptionHeat oil in large skillet or wok. Add onion and cook over moderately high heat, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about three minutes. Add the red noodle beans and red pepper and stir-fry until the beans are slightly softened and browned in spots, about five minutes. Add sugar and stir to coat. Add the water, cover and cook over medium-high heat until the water has evaporated and the beans are tender, about five minutes. Add the soy sauce and cook for one minute.
