Best cake ever!
Cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix cocoa and vinegar separately and add to mixture. Sift flour, salt, and baking soda Add to mixture a little at a time. Add buttermilk to mixture a little at a time. (alternating flour and buttermilk) Add flavor and color. (add color slowly to prevent splatter). Bake at 350ยบ in (2) 9 inch pans; greased and floured until toothpick comes out clean. let cool
Frosting:
Cook flour and milk in a double boiler until thick. stir more frequently as mixture thickens. Let cool. Cream butter and sugar; Add flour and milk mixture a little at a time. Stir in coconut,vanilla extract, and nuts. frost cake.
